Last week some fellow stylists and myself had the opportunity to present our salon to a local beauty school and show off who we are as a team and salon. Everyone brought something different to the table and created such stunning looks! Here are a few pics from my look.
I absolutely love each and every one of my clients! Here are a few of my favorites from over the year :)
Thanks all you lovely's!
Drawing of Karlie Kloss I did a few months ago! Who should I draw next?
Dreaming of these hand painted highlights and textured lob.
This past Sunday we held a photo shoot at the salon I work for. I used my best beauties with the best hair :) I cant wait to see how the photos will be used. So for now here are some behind the scenes pics.
I was so excited to try Bleach London's wash in colors on my hair! I ripped open the package and headed straight for the shower. I first heard about their products from the book "The Craft" by Lou Teasdale. She is one of my favorite celebrity hair stylist who has such a fun outlook on hair. Here is my experience.
Rogue & Company. I am obsessed with this new line from the top hair dressers in the world. If you want to treat your hair come pick some up at Muse!
Okay, Okay, I've got to stop cutting my sisters hair. I am pretty sure this is as short as she will let me go... for now ;) But I love what we did and hopefully she does too. Gave her her first A-line, nothing to drastic to work perfectly with her curls.
I promised myself this year I would draw and paint, and create more. Mostly I just draw pictures of people but I intend to branch out this year. I must always be working on the next thing, it really is my happy place. My step-dad is my biggest fan. Here is my most recent: Cara's Brows.
And we're back at it! This past Monday was Avant Garde and I decided to do a mo-hawk braid on my lovely sister-in-law Kelly. Braids have my heart.
I absolutely love what I do, and this is why! Had way too much fun with this gal's cut and color.
Merry Christmas from Muse Art Haus!
I'm a little late on posting this one.. a couple weeks ago my fabulous mother got to be my model for creating texture and making a shape. With deciding to tease EVERY hair on her head, this one definitely started to defeat me in the beginning. Finally getting it to a style I was happy with, this one became one of my favorite looks :) Thanks mom!
I am currently IN LOVE with this hair cut ( the bob or the lob) so I was so excited when my beautiful friend Taylor was ready for a change.
Today I was quite lucky to get my hands on the lovely Aubrey's hair (its amazing!). Our class was on wedding & up-styling hair. This is one of my favorite things to do so I just had fun with this one and went for something messy and loose. With up-dos I love that there is always a foundation, but the rest is where ever your hands take the hair, adding twists and loops, pinning it up until it's just right.
On top of hair and make-up I love doing brows. I never thought it would be something I would get into... but I did... and I love it. Brows can instantly change your face, opening up and framing your eyes. Ladies put down your tweezers and let them brows grow! A lot of my clients do a combo of tinting the brows first tinting then waxing. Here are some picture of brows I recently got my hands on :)
Today's class was all about the French Twist. This is such a classic hair style, yet there are so many different ways to go about styling it. My beautiful model Meredith ended up with more of a modern/ high-fashion look, which I was pretty happy about :)

My sister let me cut her hair today! I think I took more than we planned on, but it turned out better than ever :)
Yesterday was amazing getting to work on these beautiful bridesmaids. I absolutely love working with the oh so talented Katie Nash, who is so kind to bring me along whenever she needs a helping hand. Here are some pictures captured from the day. (All hair by me)
